Anticipating 2024

We are looking forward to a year of growth, fun, and outreach.

The Hattiesburg area will have its own in-person support group. They will meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall at Crosspoint Community Church (3211 Hwy 589 Hattiesburg, MS 39402). Throughout the year, we will start support groups in the coastal and northeastern areas of the state. Every support group will be a hybrid model, and all members are invited to Zoom-in to any group's meeting. Movie night, Twin Lakes, bowling, and Brave's night are already on the schedule for our Jackson-area support group. If you're interested in connecting with others, letting loose, and trying new things, now is a great time to get involved with one of our groups!

The NeuroTrauma Symposium this year will be on April 5, 2024 at the Clyde Muse Center and built around the theme "Empowering Resilience: Innovative Solutions in NeuroTrauma Care." We will be representing Mississippi in D.C. on March 6, 2024 where we will advocate for the reinstatement of the Traumatic Brain Injury Act. On March 20, 2024 we invite everyone to join us at the Capitol Building in Jackson for Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Day. If you are interested in becoming an advocate or being part of a letter writing campaign, just reach out to our office.
